Jamaïque

En mai 2009, le gouvernement jamaïcain a convoqué la première Commission Nationale pour les Réparations (RNC) sous la direction du professeur Barry Chavannnes.Le professeur Verene Shepherd est nommé président de la RCN et déclare que le but de la RCN est de «recevoir des contributions, entendre des témoignages, évaluer les recherches et mettre en place des consultations publiques dans le but de trouver une réponse nationale à la question des réparations», ainsi que créer un programme d'éducation. La Commission est forcée de se dissoudre après un an en raison de contraintes financières.
